Based on my experience, I’ve determined there are two types of “writers:” (1) Those who like the idea of writing, who think they know everything about literature, who act pretentious, who take themselves far too seriously, who half-ass actually following their dreams, who are jealous of others’ talent. (2) Those who write for themselves, who do not claim to know everything about literature, who chase their dreams, who appreciate not only their hard work but also that of others, who admit there is always room for improvement, who don’t take themselves too seriously.
Now, plenty of people assume I’m the former; however, those who know me will tell you I’m the latter.
